Womens President Jess Henry reaches milestone
The Gordon District Cricket Club would like to congratulate Women's Club President Jess Henry on completing her 25th season with Gordon.
Jess is the first Gordon womens player to achieve this milestone. She has been on the Club Executive Committee for 20 consecutive years including 14 as President.
During her long innings Jess has padded up around 350 times, scored at least 5,000 runs, taken 100+ catches, has a top score of 103 and has broken or bruised just about every part of her body! She would also like her 8 wickets to be noted!
At the 2009-10 Women's Presentation Night Jess was awarded Clubwoman of the Year, voted by all senior Gordon players as the player to contribute most to the Club during the season. The Club also announced that the Perpetual trophy hereinafter be known as the “Jess Henry Clubwoman of the Year”.
