Bronwyn's Fun Run Appeal Update

Bear Cottage are challenging ordinary people to do something extraordinary by completing the 2005 City 2 Surf to benefit Bear Cottage. As reported previously, Gordon's Bronwyn Calver has taken up the challenge.

Thanks to the support of players, supporters, friends and family, Bronwyn has not only hit the $100 sponsorship target she set herself, she has secured $776 for the appeal. This is no small feat, and is something both Bronwyn and the club can be proud of.

We wish Bronwyn all the best for her run.

Bear Cottage is an initiative of The Children's Hospital at Westmead.

 Bear Cottage offers:
· respite care for children and young people with life limiting illnesses and their families
. end-of-life care when a child is in the final stages of their illness
· bereavement support for parents and siblings after the death of a child.

Families do not pay for Bear Cottage services. The $1.5 million annual operating budget for Bear Cottage is raised entirely through community donations.
