Bash for Cash 6th March |
Bash for Cash! We've had Pink Stumps Day, now it is time for the Bash for Cash! This Sunday, 1st grade is heading down to Raby for a crucial clash with Sydney- with a spot in the semi-final up for grabs. The day will start with 3 t20 matches starting at 11am- Gordon has the bye. Come 3pm, at Raby #2, Gordon will be taking on Sydney; with both teams rolling out full strength teams in what promises to be an entertaining and exciting encounter. Players will be wearing pink, there will be some development activities throughout the day conducted by cricketnsw staff and there will undoubtedly be fun atmosphere with cash up for grabs. The boundaries will be brought in- to 50m (shortest allowed by SCA rules), with every 4 netting the club $20, and every six bringing in a cool $50. So get down to Raby to support the Gordon 1st grade girls in the season defining clash at 3pm. If you can't make the trek to Campbelltown, be sure to get to Sydney University (Oval #2) to see 2nd grade in action for two t20 matches starting at 11. 3rd grade take on Northern District at Forsyth, and Brewers play Sydney at Killara. It is a massive weekend for the club, and one of the last chances this season to see the girls in action, and it would be great to have some support on the sideline. Go the Reds! |
