Underarm Bowling has been legalised!!
Gordon Women's Barefoot Lawn Bowls Night.
As one of the last social events for this season the Gordon Women's District Cricket Club invites all members, their family and friends to come along and get their feet on the grass and have some fun with barefoot bowls. If you have never played lawn bowls before, now is the perfect chance to give it a go in some great company.
Where: Longueville Sporting Club (corner of River Rd & Kenneth St Longueville.)
When: Friday 3rd of March 2006.
Time: 6:30pm to around 10:00pm
Cost: $5 for under 16's, and $10 for Adults.
This includes a BBQ dinner and lawn bowls for the evening. (Note: money is to be paid on the night)
Beverages: These can be purchased from the clubhouse.
What to Wear: Comfortable clothes. You will need to bring shoes to wear inside the clubhouse, however bowling is done barefoot.

Women's 2006 Presentation Night
Celebrate the 2005/06 Season at the Sydney Cricket Associations Women's Competition Presentation Night
All players from the Senior Club (Grade Teams) and invited to the Sydney Cricket Association, Women's Competition, Presentation Dinner to support our Fourth Grade Premiers!
The event will be held at Epping RSL Club on Friday 5th May from 6.30pm. $40 per head.
RSVP also to Captain/ Team manager. For those of you that have been before it's always a great night and I encourage you to attend. It would be great if we could fill at least THREE tables (30 people)

Breakers play at the SCG
WCNL hits the SCG!
The Breakers will be playing at the SCG this weekend against the Queensland Fire.
The Breakers have not played at the SCG since 1999, so take the opportunity to be part of history and see them play there again.
Led admirably by Alex Blackwell and Leah Poulton, the team continued their unbeaten winning streak against WA.
The 18-match history between Queensland and NSWfeatures an impressive 17 wins by New South Wales.

TIME FOR THE ANNUAL GORDON WOMEN'S CRICKET XMAS PARTY!!
As Xmas is fast approaching us (can you believe that??) we are pleased to announce that this years Gordon Women's Cricket Club Xmas Party will be held as follows:
When: Saturday 10th December
Where: 'The Hamman Residence' ' 140 Middle Harbour Road, Lindfield
Time: 7pm to approx 11pm
Cost: $10 for Adults & $5 for U18s (includes sausage sizzle and soft drinks all night!)
Who: Players, Family, Friends & Past Gordon Players are all welcome!
** TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE PRIOR TO THE NIGHT THROUGH YOUR TEAM CAPTAIN OR MANAGER SO PLEASE SEE AND GIVE YOUR MONEY TO EACH OF THEM**
A big thank you to Lauren Hamman from 1st Grade and her parents for allowing us to have the Xmas Party at their house this year (very much appreciated by us all!) and to Charlotte Anneveld, Amy Buttsworth, Lauren Hamman, Anna Reid and Neha Cunningham for their efforts in organising the night.
This is always a great night for the Club so please come and join in the celebrations! We would love to see you all there!!
