Training and Development

Alex Blackwell - Come ;n; Try DayA critical part of running a successful cricket club is the professionalism of and commitment to training.

Reflecting the importance of this, the club employs a highly experienced and qualified club coach, whose role it is to coordinate Training Sessions, provide specialist coaching advice, as well as providing input and organisational support at matches.

In addition to the coach, the club is also able to call upon a number of its past players for specialist coaching input.

Each season, interested players and associates have the opportunity to attend coaching and umpiring skills courses provided by Cricket NSW. Combined with the skills our representative players bring back, the Club continues to build it€s coaching credentials.

The Club is committed to our young players and has formal programs in place to foster Junior Development as a vital part of our future.

Please contact us at email: cricket@gordonwomen.com.au if you would like more information.

BoyFreeZone (BFZ)

The MILO In2Cricket BoyFreeZone introduces girls to cricket through fun action-packed activities.  These are for girls only, aged five years and above, who are looking to get In2Cricket for the first time.

The balls are soft, the bats are light and most importantly, the lesson plans have been carefully developed to ensure that everyone gets a go!

The Club works with Cricket NSW to appoint a BFZ Co-ordinator from within our ranks to run a BFZ Program in the North Shore area.
