Gordon Juniors Awards
The Gordon Junior Club had their own awards for special performances during the season and these awards are as follows:
- Mal Hall "Cricketer of the Year"
- Clyde Coltman Award to Junior Player of the Year
- Individual team awards
NSJCA Awards:
The Association also makes team and Individual awards each season:
Batting Aggregate:
Awarded to the player who scores the most runs in the season in each age group/division. In the event of a tie, the award goes to the player with the best batting average (ie. totals runs scored divided by number of times out).
Batting Average:
Awarded to the player who scores the highest batting average in the season in each age group/division. In the event of a tie, the award goes to the player with the best batting aggregate.
Bowling Aggregate:
Awarded to the player who takes the most wickets in the season in each age group/division. In the event of a tie, the award goes to the player with the lowest bowling average (ie. totals runs conceded divided by number of wickets taken).
Bowling Average:
Awarded to the player who scores the lowest bowling average in the season in each age group/division. In the event of a tie, the award goes to the player with the highest bowling aggregate.
Wicket Keeping:
Awarded to the player who scores the most wicket keeping points where points are awarded for catches, stumpings and byes (negative). |
